Fragment Analyzer system
Accurate, efficient, and reliable QC analysis of nucleic acids

The Fragment Analyzer systems utilize automated parallel capillary electrophoresis to provide reliable quality control (QC) for nucleic acids. With its unique design and intuitive features, common QC bottlenecks are resolved by the automation of key steps such as gel loading and sample injection increasing lab efficiency. A broad range of kits are available allowing you to easily qualify and quantify DNA and RNA samples. Choose from three models with varying throughputs to match your labs needs.

Qualitative
The qualitative kits provide automated and accurate sizing with relative quantification of DNA fragments. Common uses include the analysis of PCR amplicons, simple sequence repeats (SSRs)/microsatellites, and genotyping. There are six different kits to choose from based on the size of the DNA or PCR fragments, ranging from 35 to 20,000 bp. Specially formulated gels, markers, and ladders are designed for each kit enabling reliable sizing over a broad range with varying applications. High resolution kits enable the separation of fragments under 300 bp with a 3 bp difference.

RNA

The RNA kits are used for the automated analysis of mRNA and total RNA quality control, including IVT mRNA
sizing and detection of degradation. Quality RNA is crucial to many applications, including qPCR, NGS,
microarray analysis, and Northern blot analysis.
ProSize data analysis software calculates an RNA Quality Number (RQN), providing a quantitative
quality metric for downstream applications. Excellent resolution allows users to easily distinguish between
RNA degradation and small RNA, increasing the accuracy of the RQN score.

Features
-
Broad Concentration Range - The HS RNA kit (15 nt) has a concentration range of 50 to 5,000 pg/µL, while the RNA kit (15 nt) covers 5 to 500 ng/µL
-
High and Standard Sensitivity Kits - Minimize sample dilutions by choosing the kit that has the right concentration range for your needs
-
Reliable Sizing - Sizing range from 200 to 6,000 nt ensures accurate and precise sizing of RNA samples
-
Quality Metrics - RNA Quality Number (RQN) quickly scores the integrity of total RNA
-
Low Sample Volume - Only 2 µL of sample is required, minimizing sample loss to QC steps
-
Specific RNA Analysis Modes - ProSize data analysis software can be set to analyze eukaryotic, prokaryotic, plant, and mRNA samples

Small RNA Kits

The Small RNA kit focuses on microRNA and small RNA quality control. Analysis of small RNAs is essential for downstream applications such as small RNA NGS libraries. The small RNA ladder includes six fragments ranging from 15 to 200 nt, which provides accurate and precise quantification and sizing of small RNA and microRNA. Focusing on a narrow range of 200 nt magnifies the individual areas of microRNA (10 to 40 nt) and small RNA (40 to 200 nt) allowing for high separation resolution and detailed analysis of each region.

Features
-
Broad Concentration Range - The Small RNA kit has a concentration range of 25 to 2,500 pg/µL
-
Short Analysis Time - Analysis time in as little as 22 minutes
-
Reliable Sizing - Sizing range from 15 to 200 nt ensures accurate and precise sizing of small RNA samples
-
Low Sample Volume - Only 2 µL of sample is required, minimizing sample loss to QC steps
-
Specific RNA Analysis Modes - ProSize data analysis software uses a specific small RNA analysis region function automatically calculating percent microRNA and quantification of microRNA and small RNA
-
